28 We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predetermined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren.
30 And those whom he predetermined he also called, and those whom he called he also pronounced righteous, and those whom he pronounced righteous he also glorified.
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
8 Do not be ashamed to testify for our Lord or for me his prisoner, but join in suffering hardships for the good news as God gives power.
9 It is he who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our deeds but according to his own purpose and grace, given to us in Christ Jesus ages ago
10 but now manifested by the appearance of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has defeated death and brought to light life and immortality by the good news.
10 Therefore endeavor more earnestly, brethren, to make sure that you have been called and chosen. For while doing these things you will never stumble.
11 For so entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.
13 He has saved us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
38 Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 For the promise belongs to you and to your children and to all those who are far off, as many as the Lord your God may call."
14 For many are invited, but few are chosen."
26 Consider your own call, brethren, that not many wise, humanly speaking, not many powerful, not many high-born have been called.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the strong,
5 Listen, my beloved brethren, did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him?
6 being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun the good work in you will carry it on to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
10 The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little will equip, establish and strengthen you.
18 enlightening the eyes of your heart, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the glorious wealth of his inheritance in the holy,
19 and what the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe according to the inworking of his vast might,
