16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that every one who believes in him may not perish, but have life eternal.
28 Do not fear before those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
13 We do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, regarding those who are sleeping, that you may not sorrow as the rest of men who have no hope.
14 For since, as we believe, Jesus died and rose, so too God will through Jesus bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
21 For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
55 O Death, where is thy victory? O Death, where is thy sting?"
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
8 If we live we live for the Lord and if we die we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die we are the Lord's.
11 Trustworthy is the saying, "For if we have died with him we shall also live with him;
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "The Tent of God is with men. He will tent with them and they will be his people and he will be their God.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; neither shall there any longer be sorrow or wailing or painful toil; for the first things have passed away."
7 Hardly for a righteous man will any one die. For a good man some one perhaps may dare to die.
8 But God shows his own love to us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is life eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord.
46 Then Jesus said in a loud voice, "Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit." After saying this, he breathed his last.
21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came resurrection of the dead.
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me even though he dies will live,
26 and no one who lives and believes in me will ever die. Do you believe this?"
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me even though he dies will live,
26 and no one who lives and believes in me will ever die. Do you believe this?"
27 And as it is appointed for men once for all to die and after this comes judgment,
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and with God's trumpet-call, and first the dead in Christ will rise.
17 Then we, the living, who are left, will be caught up along with them into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall forever be with the Lord.
23 I am under pressure both ways, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for it is far better,
24 yet that I should stay in the flesh is more needful on your account.
20 For the state of which we are citizens is in the heavens and from there we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
21 He will transform the body we have in our low estate into the likeness of the body he has in glory by the power by which he can subject all things to himself.
23 And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 He called and said, 'Father Abraham, have compassion on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.'
26 The last enemy to be defeated will be death.
27 My sheep listen to my voice and I know them and they follow me,
28 and I give to them life eternal, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
25 For whoever chooses to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
15 Then when passion has conceived it gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full grown, gives birth to death.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; neither shall there any longer be sorrow or wailing or painful toil; for the first things have passed away."
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection! Over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests and kings of God and of Christ, and will reign with him the thousand years.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor archangels, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height nor depth nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus our Lord.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
17 For if by the fall of one man death reigned through that one, much more those who receive the abounding grace and the free gift of righteousness will reign in life through one, that is, through Jesus Christ.
