11 never flagging in zeal, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord,
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in trial, constant in prayer,
7 excuses all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may take your crown.
33 I have spoken these things to you that in me you may have peace. In the world you have distress. But he courageous. I have conquered the world."
14 This is the confidence that we have toward him: that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
15 And if we know that he hears us when we ask anything, we know that we obtain the things that we have asked of him.
7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened.
8 For every one who asks obtains, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks the door is opened.
6 being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun the good work in you will carry it on to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness:
37 For "no word that comes from God will fail."
17 So if any one is in Christ he is a new creature. The old things have passed away, they have become new.
1 THEN I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and the sea was no more.
2 I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "The Tent of God is with men. He will tent with them and they will be his people and he will be their God.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; neither shall there any longer be sorrow or wailing or painful toil; for the first things have passed away."
16 All Scripture is divinely inspired and is useful for teaching, for proof, for correction of error, for education in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
13 Hold to the example of wholesome words which you heard from me in faith and love in Christ Jesus.
14 Guard through the Holy Spirit which dwells in us the precious trust committed to you.
35 Do not, then, cast away your confidence, for it will have a great reward.
12 For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any two-edged sword, and it pierces until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart.
16 Therefore we are not downhearted, but even if our outward man is wasting away, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our momentary and light distress is working out for us a far surpassing and eternal weight of glory
18 while we contemplate not the things that are seen, but the things unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things unseen are eternal.
12 Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has been tested he will gain the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love him.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him. For he who comes to God must have faith that he exists and that he becomes the rewarder of those who seek him.
12 Here is the endurance of the holy who keep the commands of God and the faith of Jesus.
9 Let us not grow discouraged in doing what is noble, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow faint.
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in trial, constant in prayer,
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal encouragement and good hope through grace,
17 encourage your hearts and make you strong in every good word and work.
18 I will not leave you desolate; I will come to you.
17 So then faith comes from the report and report comes through the word of Christ.
12 I know how to live humbly and I know how to enjoy abundance. In each and every situation I have been initiated into the secret both of being well fed and of going hungry, both of having abundance and of bearing want.
13 I can do all things through him who gives me strength.
26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
19 Do not revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord."
28 We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
66 After that many of the disciples drew back from him and no longer went about with him.
67 Jesus said to the twelve, "Will you also go away?"
68 Simon Peter answered him, "Sir, to whom shall we go? You have the words of life eternal,
69 and we are persuaded and know that you are the Holy One of God."
28 "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he is faithful who has promised,
24 and let us keep watch to incite one another to love and noble deeds,
25 not neglecting to assemble yourselves, as some do, but encouraging one another, and so much the more, as you see the day drawing near.
