10 Then he carried me in Spirit to the top of a great and high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God,
11 having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like that of a most precious stone, like crystalline jasper.
12 She had a wall great and high, and she had twelve gates and at the gates twelve angels, and there were names written upon the gates. They are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.
13 On the east were three gates and on the north three gates and on the south three gates and on the west three gates.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations and upon them were twelve names, the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
22 I saw no temple in it; for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.
23 And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it; for the glory of God illumines it and the Lamb is its light.
26 But the Jerusalem on high is free and she is our mother.
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and the city of the living God, heavenly Jerusalem, to tens of thousands of angels,
23 to the festal assembly and congregation of first-born who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,
24 and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant and to the sprinkled blood which tells something better than the blood of Abel.
1 THEN he showed me a river of water of life bright as crystal, issuing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the space between the street and the river, on this side and on that, grew trees of life bearing twelve kinds of fruit, and yielding their fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 There will no longer be any accursed thing. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it and his servants will worship him with holy rites.
4 They will see his face and his name will be on their foreheads.
5 There will not be night any more and they will have no need of lamplight or of sunlight; for the Lord God will shine upon them and they will be kings for the ages of the ages.
11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may take your crown.
12 He who conquers \'97 I will make him a pillar in the Temple of my God and he will never go out, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down from heaven from my God, and I will write on him my own new name.
16 But now they desire a better land, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed of them \'97 of being called their God; for he has prepared for them a city.
2 I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "The Tent of God is with men. He will tent with them and they will be his people and he will be their God.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; neither shall there any longer be sorrow or wailing or painful toil; for the first things have passed away."
1 "LET not your heart be troubled. Believe in God and believe in me.
2 In my Father's house are many abiding places. If it were not so I would have told you.
3 For I am going to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
19 and if any one takes away anything from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written of in this book.
