3 who is the reflection of his glory and the expression of his nature and sustains all things by his word of power, and who, when he had made purification from sins, took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
21 This is a type of baptism, which now saves us \'97 not the putting off of soil from the flesh, but the endeavor for a good conscience toward God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all sin and purify us as his own people earnest in honorable work.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it,
26 that he might make it holy, cleansing it by the washing with water according to his word,
2 Beloved, we are now children of God and it is not yet plain what we shall be. But we know that if he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every one who has this hope set upon Christ purifies himself just as Christ is pure.
3 You are already clean through the word that I have spoken to you.
8 Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Make your hands clean, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
1 HAVING then these promises, beloved, let us purify ourselves from every defilement of flesh or spirit, in reverence for God making our holiness complete.
20 "But," he said, "what comes out of a man is what defiles him;
21 for from within, out of the hearts of men, come evil thoughts, unchastities, thefts, murders,
22 adulteries, lusts, wickednesses, deceit, sensuality, an evil eye, slander, arrogance, recklessness \'97
23 all these had things come out from within, and they defile the man."
16 And now why delay? Rise, be baptized and wash away your sins, calling upon his name.'
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness:
7 If we live in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through an eternal Spirit offered himself an unblemished sacrifice to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works for the service of the living God.
