11 Serve the LORD with fear, with trembling
25 You shall serve the LORD your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
1 A Psalm of David.
2 Preserve me, O God, for in thee I take refuge.
2 I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds.
9 When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the door of the tent, and the LORD would speak with Moses.
10 And when all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the door of the tent, all the people would rise up and worship, every man at his tent door.
24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory for ever. Amen.
1 O give thanks to the LORD, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples!
42 But God turned and gave them over to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: Did you offer to me slain beasts and sacrifices, forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
43 And you took up the tent of Moloch, and the star of the god Rephan, the figures which you made to worship; and I will remove you beyond Babylon.'
11 for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God."
11 As with a deadly wound in my body, my adversaries taunt me, while they say to me continually, "Where is your God?" [ (Psalms 42:12) Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my help and my God. ]
19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart,
11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
21 He is your praise; he is your God, who has done for you these great and terrible things which your eyes have seen.
18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on self-abasement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind,
19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.
38 He said, "Lord, I believe"; and he worshiped him.
4 But let the righteous be joyful; let them exult before God; let them be jubilant with joy!
5 Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds; his name is the LORD, exult before him!
11 and they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever toward Israel." And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.
7 and there you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your households, in all that you undertake, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
9 There is none like thee among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like thine.
10 All the nations thou hast made shall come and bow down before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.
16 They stirred him to jealousy with strange gods; with abominable practices they provoked him to anger.
17 They sacrificed to demons which were no gods, to gods they had never known, to new gods that had come in of late, whom your fathers had never dreaded.
18 You were unmindful of the Rock that begot you, and you forgot the God who gave you birth.
8 And Jesus answered him, "It is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'"
12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.
3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
17 Though the fig tree do not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
4 Know that the LORD is God! It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
3 So I have looked upon thee in the sanctuary, beholding thy power and glory.
4 Because thy steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise thee.
9 Sing to him, sing praises to him, tell of all his wonderful works!
37 Now I, Nebuchadnez'zar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.
22 Therefore thou art great, O LORD God; for there is none like thee, and there is no God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
34 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures for ever!
35 Say also: "Deliver us, O God of our salvation, and gather and save us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting!" Then all the people said "Amen!" and praised the LORD.
17 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me.
15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
34 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures for ever!

21 And he said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return; the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."
10 Then Jesus said to him, "Begone, Satan! for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'"
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
5 Extol the LORD our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he!
21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.
25 But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,
4 Who shall not fear and glorify thy name, O Lord? For thou alone art holy. All nations shall come and worship thee, for thy judgments have been revealed."
8 My mouth is filled with thy praise, and with thy glory all the day.
14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.
24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
17 His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own pate his violence descends. [ (Psalms 7:18) I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High. ]
1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
11 "Who is like thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, majestic in holiness, terrible in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
1 Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty firmament!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his exceeding greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!
4 Praise him with timbrel and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
2 Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
16 Take heed lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them,
8 Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you men of double mind.
11 "Worthy art thou, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for thou didst create all things, and by thy will they existed and were created."

5 Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kad'mi-el, Bani, Hashabnei'ah, Sherebi'ah, Hodi'ah, Shebani'ah, and Pethahi'ah, said, "Stand up and bless the LORD your God from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be thy glorious name which is exalted above all blessing and praise."
2 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
13 And the Lord said: "Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men learned by rote;
1 To the choirmaster. A Song. A Psalm.
2 Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth;
3 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!
4 Say to God, "How terrible are thy deeds! So great is thy power that thy enemies cringe before thee.
8 I John am he who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me;
9 but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."
28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe;
29 for our God is a consuming fire.
24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
5 you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,
6 O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
6 Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the Wilderness of Judah.
22 Save me from the mouth of the lion, my afflicted soul from the horns of the wild oxen!
23 I will tell of thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the congregation I will praise thee:
3 Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
7 and he said with a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the fountains of water."
