5 When your eyes light upon it, it is gone; for suddenly it takes to itself wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
15 And he said to them, "Take heed, and beware of all covetousness; for a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
14 "But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from thee, and of thy own have we given thee.
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
4 Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
17 As for the rich in this world, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on uncertain riches but on God who richly furnishes us with everything to enjoy.
9 Honor the LORD with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce;
9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.
4 Do not toil to acquire wealth; be wise enough to desist.
10 He who loves money will not be satisfied with money; nor he who loves wealth, with gain: this also is vanity.

11 A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall protecting him.
22 The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
1 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.
22 What is desired in a man is loyalty, and a poor man is better than a liar.
11 Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle, but he who gathers little by little will increase it.
2 Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.
8 Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me,
5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, "I will never fail you nor forsake you."
