21 When a woman is in travail she has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she is delivered of the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a child is born into the world.
24 He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.
6 And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart;

15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.
1 Hear, O sons, a father's instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain insight;
28 May God give you of the dew of heaven, and of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.
29 Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be every one who curses you, and blessed be every one who blesses you!"
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

14 For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother's womb.
15 I praise thee, for thou art fearful and wonderful. Wonderful are thy works! Thou knowest me right well;
