12 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be enslaved by anything.
26 All day long the wicked covets, but the righteous gives and does not hold back.
8 Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour.
13 And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
28 Or can one walk upon hot coals and his feet not be scorched?
7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I should not have known sin. I should not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet."
13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted with evil and he himself tempts no one;

1 "I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I look upon a virgin?

13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted.
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
