Morte

28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

13 But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.

14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

4 he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

14 "And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed.

32 For I have no pleasure in the death of any one, says the Lord GOD; so turn, and live."

6 Blessed and holy is he who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with him a thousand years.

21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

48 Remember, O Lord, what the measure of life is, for what vanity thou hast created all the sons of men!

22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

3 and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them;

4 he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away."

7 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.

8 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

17 If, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

55 "O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?"

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

6 Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, jealousy is cruel as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a most vehement flame.

2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shined.

8 If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.

27 And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment,

11 The saying is sure: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him;

46 Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, and said, "Certainly this man was innocent!"

7 Why, one will hardly die for a righteous man--though perhaps for a good man one will dare even to die.

8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

4 he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel's call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first;

17 then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die."

26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.

2 he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness.

1 A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death, than the day of birth.

25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,

26 and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;

28 and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.

25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,

26 and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

4 he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away."

20 But our commonwealth is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who will change our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself.

23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Laz'arus in his bosom.

24 And he called out, Father Abraham, have mercy upon me, and send Laz'arus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.'

25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

23 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.

24 But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.

15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full-grown brings forth death.

38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
