18 We know that any one born of God does not sin, but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.
19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world is in the power of the evil one.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me;
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in his heart; this is what was sown along the path.

8 He who commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
