4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach to thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

16 And Jacob awoke from his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is no other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

16 And said to them that sold doves, Take these things away; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thy house hath eaten me up.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, which ye have from God, and ye are not your own?
