23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; uncertain…: Gr. uncertainty of riches

18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
