23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: teach…: or, make disciples, or, Christians of all nations
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: in: or, among
4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. call…: or, proclaim
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
8 But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth. power…: or, the power of the Holy Ghost coming upon you
47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
15 Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand; and it giveth light to all that are in the house. a bushel: the word in the original signifieth a measure containing about a pint less than a peck
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
8 In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: fear: or, reverence
29 Jesus answered and said, Verily I say to you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
1 O give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also ye have received, and in which ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached to you, unless ye have believed in vain. keep…: or, hold fastwhat: Gr. by what speech
15 And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
14 To which he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
35 For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt hath lost its savour, how shall it be salted? it is then good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot by men.
