43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For from thorns men do not gather figs, nor from a bramble bush do they gather grapes. grapes: Gr. a grape
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for from the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he shall come and rain righteousness upon you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. without me: or, severed from me
10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
8 In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance: meet…: or, answerable to amendment of life
21 What fruit had ye then in those things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and having become servants to God, ye have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. partiality: or, wrangling
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is, the redemption of our body.
4 Therefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit to God.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit to death. motions: Gr. passions
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead by which we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. that being…: or, being dead to that
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, self–control: against such there is no law.
8 For ye were once darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable to the Lord.
