18 Flee immorality. Every sin that a man doeth is outside the body; but he that committeth immorality sinneth against his own body.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
28 But I say to you, That whoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan may not tempt you for your lack of self–control.
3 Let the husband render to the wife her due benevolence: and likewise also the wife to the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
6 Therefore they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
15 Drink waters out of thy own cistern, and running waters out of thy own well.
16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
17 Let them be only thy own, and not for strangers with thee.
18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. satisfy…: Heb. water theebe thou…: Heb. err thou always in her love
20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with an adulteress, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
15 See that none render evil for evil to any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
10 And to the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But if she shall depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
12 But to the rest I speak, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she is pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
15 And if it seemeth evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
32 But I say to you, That whoever shall put away his wife, except for the cause of immorality, causeth her to commit adultery: and whoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
22 Whoever findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour from the LORD.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, vaunteth…: or, is not rash
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; in the truth: or, with the truth
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun. Live…: Heb. See, or, Enjoy life
33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
25 Therefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. to give: or, to distribute
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers. to…: or, to edify profitably
30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed to the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
