6 Jesus saith to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. after…: or, as seemed good, or, meet to them

19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God.

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

13 And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

12 But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: power: or, the right, or, privilege

14 I have written to you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

20 Now to God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, who is in heaven.

53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

9 For they shall be an ornament of grace to thy head, and chains about thy neck. an…: Heb. an adding

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret; and thy Father who seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he shall ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? offer: Gr. give

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

5 A fool despiseth his father’s instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loveth the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. our redeemer…: or, our redeemer from everlasting is thy name

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. farthing: it is in value halfpenny farthing in the original, as being the tenth part of the Roman penny

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

28 And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given to me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given to me: for thou didst love me before the foundation of the world.

20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.

13 I write to you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

27 All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son will reveal him.

3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. his…: Heb. filled his quiver with themspeak…: or, subdue, or, destroy

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head, and wash thy face;

18 That thou mayest not appear to men to fast, but to thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father, who seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

6 Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children is their fathers.

20 Whoever curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness. lamp: or, candle

23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loveth me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.
