12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom. apply: Heb. cause to come
4 Grant thee according to thy own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
21 There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. expected…: Heb. end and expectation
4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thy own wisdom.
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret to his servants the prophets.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
10 But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, even, the deep things of God.
9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul to thee.
22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
3 Commit thy works to the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Commit: Heb. Roll
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he hath sufficient to finish it?
31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. the oppressor: Heb. a man of violence
32 For the perverse man is an abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.
29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
