10 for they, indeed, for a few days, according to what seemed good to them, were chastening, but He for profit, to be partakers of His separation;
11 and all chastening for the present, indeed, does not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, yet afterward the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it -- it does yield.
13 Go, now, you who are saying, 'To-day and to-morrow we will go on to such a city, and will pass there one year, and traffic, and make gain;'
14 who do not know the thing of the morrow; for what is your life? for it is a vapour that is appearing for a little, and then is vanishing;
15 instead of your saying, 'If the Lord may will, we shall live, and do this or that;'
16 and now you glory in your pride; all such glorying is evil;
17 to him, then, knowing to do good, and not doing, sin it is to him.
14 and above all these things, have love, which is a bond of the perfection,
15 and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and become thankful.
17 so that if any one is in Christ -- he is a new creature; the old things did pass away, lo, become new have the all things.
13 brethren, I do not reckon myself to have laid hold; and one thing -- the things behind indeed forgetting, and to the things before stretching forth --
14 to the mark I pursue for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
12 Not that I did already obtain, or have been already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by the Christ Jesus;

15 As many, therefore, as are perfect -- let us think this, and if in anything you think otherwise, this also shall God reveal to you,
