13 And they were bringing to him children, that he might touch them, and the disciples were rebuking those bringing them,
14 and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and he said to them, 'Permit the children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the reign of God;
21 Little children, guard yourselves from the idols! Amen.
31 and they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved -- you and your house;'
4 his own house leading well, having children in subjection with all gravity,
12 but as many as did receive him to them he gave authority to become sons of God -- to those believing in his name,
19 for the earnest looking out of the creation does expect the revelation of the sons of God;
1 At that hour came the disciples near to Jesus, saying, 'Who, now, is greater in the reign of the heavens?'
2 And Jesus having called near a child, did set him in the midst of them,
3 and said, 'Verily I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the reign of the heavens;
4 whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the reign of the heavens.
25 At that time Jesus answering said, 'I do confess to You, Father, Lord of the heavens and of the earth, that you did hide these things from wise and understanding ones, and did reveal them to babes.
20 the children! obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord;
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation that does speak fully with you as with sons, 'My son, be not despising chastening of the Lord, nor be faint, being reproved by Him,
6 for whom the Lord does love He does chasten, and He scourges every son whom He receives;'
7 if chastening you endure, as to sons God bears Himself to you, for who is a son whom a father does not chasten?
8 and if you are apart from chastening, of which all have become partakers, then bastards are you, and not sons.
9 Then, indeed, fathers of our flesh we have had, chastising us, and we were reverencing them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of the spirits, and live?
2 beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;
3 and every one who is having this hope on him, does purify himself, even as he is pure.
16 The Spirit himself does testify with our spirit, that we are children of God;
10 'Beware! -- You may not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you, that their messengers in the heavens do always behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens,
22 and the youthful lusts flee you, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those calling upon the Lord out of a pure heart;
52 and Jesus was advancing in wisdom, and in stature, and in favour with God and men.
4 And the fathers! provoke not your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition gentle correction, counsel of the Lord.
14 But Jesus said, 'Permit the children, and forbid them not, to come unto me, for of such is the reign of the heavens;'
14 But Jesus said, 'Permit the children, and forbid them not, to come unto me, for of such is the reign of the heavens;'
26 for you are all sons of God through the faith in Christ Jesus,
27 for as many as to Christ were baptized did put on Christ;
4 And the fathers! provoke not your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition gentle correction, counsel of the Lord.
2 and the things that you heard from me through many witnesses, these things be committing entrusting to stedfast reliable, faithful, trustworthy, dependable men, who will be sufficient also others to teach;
11 and all chastening for the present, indeed, does not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, yet afterward the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it -- it does yield.
4 greater than these things I have no joy, that I may hear of my children in truth walking.
21 the fathers! vex not your children, lest they be discouraged.
1 See you what love the Father has given to us, that children of God we may be called; because of this the world does not know us, because it did not know Him;
9 'Blessed the peacemakers -- because they shall be called Sons of God.
3 and said, 'Verily I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the reign of the heavens;
4 whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the reign of the heavens.
5 'And he who may receive one such child in my name, does receive me.
15 for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you did receive a spirit of adoption in which we cry, 'Abba -- Father.'
4 greater than these things I have no joy, that I may hear of my children in truth walking.
14 for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;
12 I write to you, little children, because the sins have been forgiven you through his name;
1 The children! obey your parents in the Lord, for this is righteous;
2 honour your father and mother,
3 which is the first command with a promise, 'That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time upon the land.'
8 and if any one for his own -- and especially for those of the household -- does not provide, the faith he has denied, and than an unbeliever he is worse.
1 Become, then, followers of God, as children beloved,
15 When, therefore, they dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon,son of Jonas, do you love me more than these?' he said to him, 'Yes, Lord; you have known that I dearly love you;' he said to him, 'Feed my lambs.'
36 And having taken a child, he set him in the midst of them, and having taken him in his arms, said to them,
37 'Whoever may receive one of such children in my name, does receive me, and whoever may receive me, does not receive me, but Him who sent me.'
