1 An aged person you may not rebuke, but be entreating as a father; younger persons as brethren;
45 so also it has been written, 'The first man Adam became a living creature,' the last Adam is for a life-giving spirit,
46 but that which is spiritual is not first, but that which was natural, afterwards that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is out of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord out of heaven;
48 as is the earthy, such are also the earthy; and as is the heavenly, such are also the heavenly;
49 and, according as we did bear the image of the earthy, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly.
6 and one in a certain place did testify fully, saying, 'What is man, that You are mindful of him, or a son of man, that You do look after him?
11 When I was a babe, as a babe I was speaking, as a babe I was thinking, as a babe I was reasoning, and when I have become a man, I have made useless the things of the babe;
12 because of this, even as through one man the sin did enter into the world, and through the sin the death; and thus to all men the death did pass through, for that all did sin;
15 the enmity hostility in his flesh, the law of the commands in ordinances having done away, that the two he might create in himself into one new man, making peace,
11 and you, O man of God, these things flee, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness;
22 you are to put off concerning the former behaviour the old man person, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit,
23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.
7 for let not that man suppose that he shall receive anything from the Lord --
8 a two-souled man is unstable in all his ways.
