20 the children! obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord;

3 And he answering said to them, 'Why also do you transgress the command of God because of your tradition?

4 For God did command, saying, Honour your father and mother; and, He who is speaking evil of father or mother -- let him die the death;

8 and if any one for his own -- and especially for those of the household -- does not provide, the faith he has denied, and than an unbeliever he is worse.

4 And the fathers! provoke not your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition gentle correction, counsel of the Lord.

1 And this know you, that in the last days there shall come perilous times,

2 for men people shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, evil-speakers profane, those speaking insults, to parents disobedient, unthankful, unkind unsacred (Gk. anosios),

3 without natural affection affectionless, implacable unappeasable, irreconcilable, relentless, false accusers slanderers, incontinent without restraint, undisciplined, lacking self-control, fierce, not lovers of those who are good,

4 and if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to their own house to show piety, and to give back a recompense to the parents, for this is right and acceptable before God.

6 and he may not honour his father or his mother, and you did set aside the command of God because of your tradition.
