5 Jesus answered, 'Verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may not be born of water, and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the reign of God;
6 that which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 'You may not wonder that I said to you, It behooves you to be born from above;
15 verily I say to you, whoever may not receive the reign of God, as a child -- he may not enter into it;'
1 See you what love the Father has given to us, that children of God we may be called; because of this the world does not know us, because it did not know Him;
2 beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;
17 so that if any one is in Christ -- he is a new creature; the old things did pass away, lo, become new have the all things.
3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness did beget us again to a living hope, through the rising again of Jesus Christ out of the dead,
4 to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you,
11 so also you, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to the sin, and living to God in Jesus Christ our Lord.
23 being begotten again, not out of seed corruptible, but incorruptible, through a word of God -- living and remaining -- to the age;
2 as new-born babes the word's pure milk desire you, that in it you may grow,
3 if so be you did taste that the Lord is gracious,
1 At that hour came the disciples near to Jesus, saying, 'Who, now, is greater in the reign of the heavens?'
2 And Jesus having called near a child, did set him in the midst of them,
3 and said, 'Verily I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the reign of the heavens;
4 whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the reign of the heavens.
12 but as many as did receive him to them he gave authority to become sons of God -- to those believing in his name,
13 who -- not of blood nor of a will of flesh, nor of a will of man but -- of God were begotten.
22 you are to put off concerning the former behaviour the old man person, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit,
23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.
9 Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices,
10 and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him;
11 where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman -- but the all and in all -- Christ.
4 we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk.
5 For, if we have become planted together to the likeness of his death, so also we shall be of the rising again;
6 this knowing, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin;
7 for he who has died has been set free from the sin.
3 Jesus answered and said to him, 'Verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;'
4 Nicodemus said unto him, 'How is a man able to be born, being old? is he able into the womb of his mother a second time to enter, and to be born?'
5 Jesus answered, 'Verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may not be born of water, and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the reign of God;
6 that which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 'You may not wonder that I said to you, It behooves you to be born from above;
8 the Spirit where he wills does blow, and his voice you do hear, but you have not known whence he comes, and whither he goes; thus is every one who has been born of the Spirit.'
4 and when the fulness of time did come, God sent forth His Son, come of a woman, come under law,
5 that those under law he may redeem, that the adoption of sons we may receive;
3 Jesus answered and said to him, 'Verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;'
4 and God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even being dead in the trespasses, made us to live together with the Christ, (by grace you are having been saved,)
4 we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk.
20 with Christ I have been crucified, and live no more do I, and Christ does live in me; and that which I now live in the flesh -- in the faith I live of the Son of God, who did love me and did give himself for me;
