10 for even when we were with you, this we did command you, that if any one is not willing to work, neither let him eat,
7 The husbands, in like manner, dwelling with them, according to knowledge, as to a weaker vessel -- to the wife -- imparting honour, as also being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
13 Watch you, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;
19 the husbands! love your wives, and be not bitter with them;
8 and if any one for his own -- and especially for those of the household -- does not provide, the faith he has denied, and than an unbeliever he is worse.
2 it benefits, therefore, the overseer to be blameless, of one wife a husband, vigilant, sober, decent, a friend of strangers, apt to teach,
3 not given to wine, not a striker, not given to filthy lucre, but gentle, not contentious, not a lover of money,
4 his own house leading well, having children in subjection with all gravity,
23 and all, whatever you may do -- out of soul work -- as to the Lord, and not to men,
18 and be not drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness recklessness, but be filled in the Spirit,
4 And the fathers! provoke not your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition gentle correction, counsel of the Lord.
25 The husbands! love your own wives, as also the Christ did love the assembly, and did give himself for it,
