18 and the Lord shall free me from every evil work, and shall save me -- to his heavenly kingdom; to whom is the glory to the ages of the ages! Amen.

3 and stedfast is the Lord, who shall establish you, and shall guard you from the evil;

28 'Come unto me, all you labouring and burdened ones, and I will give you rest,

33 these things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace, in the world you shall have tribulation, but take courage -- I have overcome the world.'

33 these things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace, in the world you shall have tribulation, but take courage -- I have overcome the world.'

21 Be not overcome by the evil, but overcome, in the good, the evil.

11 and they did overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life -- unto death;

46 and he said to them, 'Why do you sleep? having risen, pray that you may not enter into temptation.'

5 Without covetousness the behaviour, being content with the things present, for He has said, 'No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake you,'

57 and to God -- thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;

37 because nothing shall be impossible with God.'

4 You -- of God you are, little children, and you have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.

8 he who is doing the sin, of the devil he is, because from the beginning the devil does sin; for this was the Son of God manifested, that he may break up the works of the devil;

5 and the light in the darkness did shine, and the darkness did not perceive it.

8 Be sober, vigilant, because your opponent the devil, as a roaring lion, does walk about, seeking whom he may swallow up,

9 whom resist, stedfast in the faith, having known the same sufferings to your brotherhood in the world to be accomplished.

10 And the God of all grace, who did call you to His age-during glory in Christ Jesus, having suffered a little, Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you;

26 be angry and do not sin; let not the sun go down upon your wrath,

27 neither give place to the devil;

37 but in all these we more than conquer, through him who loved us;

21 He who is overcoming -- I will give to him to sit with me in my throne, as I also did overcome and did sit down with my Father in His throne.

3 for consider again him who endured such gainsaying from the sinners to himself, that you may not be wearied in your souls -- being faint.

10 And to whom you forgive anything -- I also; for I also, if I have forgiven anything, to whom I have forgiven it, because of you -- in the person of Christ -- I forgive it,

11 that we may not be over-reached by the Adversary, for of his devices we are not ignorant.

13 For all things I have strength, in Christ's strengthening me;

40 and having come to the place, he said to them, 'Pray you not to enter into temptation.'

4 You -- of God you are, little children, and you have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.

13 No temptation has taken you -- except human; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but He will make, with the temptation, also the outlet, for your being able to bear it.

22 you are to put off concerning the former behaviour the old man person, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit,

23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

24 and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.

12 be striving the good strife of the faith, be laying hold on the life age-during, to which also you wast called, and did profess the right profession before many witnesses.

1 Therefore, we also having so great a cloud of witnesses set around us, every weight having put off, and the closely besetting sin, through endurance may we run the contest that is set before us,

18 for in that he suffered, himself being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

14 and to God are thanks, who at all times is leading us in triumph in the Christ, and the fragrance of His knowledge He is manifesting through us in every place,

9 and those wishing to be rich, do fall into temptation and a snare, and many desires, foolish and hurtful, that sink men into ruin and destruction,

19 lo, I give to you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt you;

10 As to the rest, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might;

11 put on the whole armour of God, for your being able to stand against the wiles schemes of the devil,

12 because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places;

13 because of this take you up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and all things having done -- to stand.

14 Stand, therefore, having your loins girt girded about in truth, and having put on the breastplate of the righteousness,

15 and having the feet shod in the preparation of the good-news of the peace;

16 above all, having taken up the shield of the faith, in which ye shall be able all the fiery darts of the evil one to quench,

17 and the helmet of the salvation receive, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the saying of God,

12 Happy the man who does endure temptation, because, becoming approved, he shall receive the crown of the life, which the Lord did promise to those loving Him.

13 Let no one say, being tempted -- 'From God I am tempted,' for God is not tempted of evil, and Himself does tempt no one,

14 and each one is tempted, by his own desires being led away and enticed,

15 afterward the desire having conceived, does give birth to sin, and the sin having been perfected, does bring forth death.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

28 And we have known that to those loving God all things do work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose;

21 Be not overcome by the evil, but overcome, in the good, the evil.

4 because every one who is begotten of God does overcome the world, and this is the victory that did overcome the world -- our faith;

3 for this is the love of God, that His commands we may keep, and His commands are not burdensome;

4 because every one who is begotten of God does overcome the world, and this is the victory that did overcome the world -- our faith;

5 who is he who is overcoming the world, if not he who is believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

7 be subject, then, to God; stand up against the devil, and he will flee from you;

8 draw near to God, and He will draw near to you; cleanse hands, you sinners! and purify hearts, you two-souled!

5 He who is overcoming -- this one -- shall be arrayed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the scroll of the life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before His messengers.

38 Watch you and pray, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak.'

8 Be sober, vigilant, because your opponent the devil, as a roaring lion, does walk about, seeking whom he may swallow up,

10 be made low before the Lord, and He shall exalt you.

57 and to God -- thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;

12 I write to you, little children, because the sins have been forgiven you through his name;

13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning; I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil. I write to you, little youths, because you have known the Father:

14 I did write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning; I did write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God in you does remain, and you have overcome the evil.

15 Love not you the world, nor the things in the world; if any one does love the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

5 who is he who is overcoming the world, if not he who is believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

15 Have you not known that your bodies are members of Christ? having taken, then, the members of the Christ, shall I make them members of an harlot? let it be not!

16 have you not known that he who is joined to the harlot is one body? 'for they shall be -- says He -- the two for one flesh.'

17 And he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit;

18 flee the whoredom; every sin -- whatever a man may commit -- is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body does sin.

19 Have you not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God? and you are not your own,

20 for you were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

16 And I say: In the Spirit walk you, and the desire of the flesh you may not complete;

17 for the flesh does desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that you may will -- these you may not do;

21 He who is overcoming -- I will give to him to sit with me in my throne, as I also did overcome and did sit down with my Father in His throne.
