11 So he said to them, »Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
12 And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.«
16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, so that you may not do what you would.
32 But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, causes her to become an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the immoral and adulterous.
18 Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.
18 Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.
21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality.
22 So I will cast her on a sickbed, and I will throw those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her ways.
4 they said to him, »Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
5 Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say?«
6 They said this to test him, that they might have something of which to accuse him. But Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground with his finger.
7 And when they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, »Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.«
8 And again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 Then those who heard it went away one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last, and Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing before him.
10 Jesus straightened up and said to her, »Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?«
11 She said, »No one, Lord.« And Jesus said, »Neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more.«
4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
27 »You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.
28 But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornications, theft, false witness, slander.
