1 First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men,
2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity.
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.
17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
16 So do not let your good be spoken of as evil.
50 Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.«
4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving;
5 for it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
2 Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
