8 »I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God.
9 But he who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
4 Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.
5 Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves; but our competence is from God,
6 who has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
6 Even so Abraham »believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.«
7 Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.
8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, »In you will all the nations be blessed.«
9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith.
1 »Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.
10 For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
