26 And he said to them, »Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?« Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 And the men marveled, saying, »What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?«
30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 Therefore do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear?
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written: »For your sake we are being killed all the day long;we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.«
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which to be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
19 Behold, I have given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you.
