1 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers,
15 by abolishing in his flesh the hostility, which is the Law of commandments and ordinances, so that he might create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace,
45 So it is written, »The first man Adam became a living being«; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; and then the spiritual.
47 The first man was from the earth, of dust; the second man is from heaven.
48 As was the man of dust, so are those who are of the dust; and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.
11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
6 But there is a place where someone has testified, »What is man that you are mindful of him,or the son of man that you care for him?
7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all men, because all men sinned.
22 You were taught, with regard to your former manner of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful lusts;
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
24 and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
