32 Jesus then said to them, »Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.«
34 Then they said to him, »Lord, give us this bread always.«
35 And Jesus said to them, »I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.
19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, »This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me.«
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
4 But he answered, »It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedsfrom the mouth of God.«
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?
17 Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.
5 When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
6 Then Jesus said to them, »Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.«
7 And they discussed among themselves, saying, »It is because we have taken no bread.«
8 But Jesus, aware of this, said, »O men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves the fact that you have no bread?
9 Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered?
10 Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered?
11 How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.«
12 Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
9 Pray, then, in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come, your will be doneon earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
37 But he answered them, »You give them something to eat.« And they said to him, »Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give it to them to eat?«
38 But he said to them, »How many loaves do you have? Go and see.« And when they found out they said, »Five, and two fish.«
39 Then he commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.
40 So they sat down in groups, of hundreds and fifties.
41 And taking the five loaves and the two fish he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all.
42 And they all ate and were satisfied.
43 And they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish.
48 I am the bread of life.
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.«
