8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from your presence; and take not your holy spirit from me.
9 And this I pray, that your love (o. agape) may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10 That all of you may approve things that are excellent; that all of you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That all of you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom all of you shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word (o. logos) of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
5 Now the end of the commandment is love (o. agape) out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith sincere:
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, love, (o. agape) peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
22 Seeing all of you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit (o. pneuma) unto sincere love of the brethren, see that all of you love one another with a pure heart fervently:
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weights the spirits.
