12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also all of you are called in one body; and be all of you thankful.
27 Now all of you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (o. agape)
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, (o. pneuma) even as all of you are called in one hope of your calling;
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
15 Know all of you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
