28 A perverse man sows strife: and a whisperer separates chief friends.
9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
18 He that hides hatred with lying lips, and he that utters a slander, is a fool.
29 Let no corrupt communication (o. logos) proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
11 Blessed are all of you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil (o. rhema) against you falsely, for my sake.
2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbour.
13 A talebearer reveals secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter.
