Humildade

8 Finally, be all of you all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

8 He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and says unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

13 For, brethren, all of you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love (o. agape) serve one another.

48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2 Therefore when you do yours alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

2 When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, (o. pneuma) which is in the sight of God of great price.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

13 Who is a wise man and imbued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (o. agape)

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and all of you shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
