Sabedoria

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.

8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of mine enemies; make your way straight before my face.

11 You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

13 Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.

11 And the LORD shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

10 Say not you, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for you do not enquire wisely concerning this.

28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

1 Boast not yourself of tomorrow; for you know not what a day may bring forth.

18 Open you mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

3 Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;

5 Then shall you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

35 For whoso finds me finds life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

13 With him is wisdom and strength, he has counsel and understanding.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.

2 When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

1 Then Job answered and said,

2 I know it is so truthfully: but how should man be just with God?

3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.

4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be implored, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

13 Man knows not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

14 The depth says, It is not in me: and the sea says, It is not with me.

15 It cannot be got for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

20 Whence then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

34 Take therefore no thought for the next day: for the next day shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens mine ear to hear as the learned.

5 And all of you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not you the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.

1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

15 See then that all of you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

8 He that gets wisdom loves his own soul: he that keeps understanding shall find good.

5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

15 See then that all of you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 Only by pride comes contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

23 And whatsoever all of you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24 Knowing that of the Lord all of you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for all of you serve the Lord Christ.

2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

19 The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding has he established the heavens.

27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom gives life to them that have it.

8 He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

29 This also comes forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

6 For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a babbling fool shall fall.

28 Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuts his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

8 Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you.

28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkens unto counsel is wise.

24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

4 Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.

5 Trust in the LORD with all yours heart; and lean not unto yours own understanding.

6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.

7 Be not wise in yours own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

6 Let your (o. logos) speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that all of you may know how all of you ought to answer every man.

30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.

23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

3 He that keeps his mouth keeps his life: but he that opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

12 He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

6 For by wise counsel you shall make your war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps.

23 I thank you, and praise you, O you God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have made known unto me now what we desired of you: for you have now made known unto us the king's matter.

2 A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

6 For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

6 And said to the judges, Take heed what all of you do: for all of you judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.

20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

26 For God gives to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

15 The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

24 You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be implored, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

14 Whereas all of you know not what shall be on the next day. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.

2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in (o. agape) love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalts folly.

16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

4 Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of yours heart.

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word (o. rhema) be established.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.

22 When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

6 Let your (o. logos) speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that all of you may know how all of you ought to answer every man.

105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

13 Who is a wise man and imbued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

10 Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go.

6 Nevertheless we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nothing:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.

24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

9 A man's heart devises his way: but the LORD directs his steps.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be implored, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

10 Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 Restore life in me, O LORD, for your name's sake: for your righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.

16 Let the (o. logos) word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

24 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings (o. logos) of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.
