4 Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach [to you] That he may stay in your courts: We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, Your holy temple.
16 And Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, Surely Yahweh is in this place. And I didn't know it.
17 And he was afraid, and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
4 One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life, To see the beauty of Yahweh, And to inquire in his temple.
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, even as he appointed who spoke to Moses, that he should make it according to the figure that he had seen.
45 Which also our fathers, in their turn, brought in with Joshua when they entered on the possession of the nations, that God thrust out before the face of our fathers, to the days of David;
46 who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find a habitation for the house of Jacob.
47 But Solomon built him a house.
48 Nevertheless the Most High does not dwell in [houses] made with hands; as the prophet says,
49 The heaven is my throne, And the earth the footstool of my feet: What manner of house will you{} build me? says the Lord: Or what is the place of my rest?
50 Did not my hand make all these things?
12 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature.
13 And he ran on before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
1 Thus says Yahweh, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will you{} build to me? And what place will be my rest?
2 For all these things my hand has made, and [so] all these things had come to be, says Yahweh: but to this man I will look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
8 But as for me, I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the loving-kindness of God forever and ever.
13 And the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
16 and to those who sold the doves he said, Take these things from here; don't make my Father's house a house of merchandise.
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for your house will eat me up.
19 Or don't you{} know that your{} body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you{}, which you{} have from God? And you{} are not your{} own;
10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
6 but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope.
15 but if I tarry long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
6 Surely goodness and loving-kindness will follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of Yahweh forever.
1 A Song of Ascents; of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of Yahweh.
9 For the zeal of your house has eaten me up; And the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
