9 Hide your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit inside me.
11 Don't cast me away from your presence; And don't take your holy Spirit from me.
8 and look, a man having a withered hand. And they watched him to see if he would heal on the Sabbath day; so that they might accuse him.
2 Beloved, we are now children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we will be. We know that, if he will be manifested, we will be like him; for we will see him even as he is.
3 And everyone who has this hope [set] on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
9 And this I pray, that your{} love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;
10 so that you{} may approve the things that are excellent; that you{} may be sincere and void of offense to the day of Christ;
11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
5 But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfeigned:
1 BOOK III. A Psalm of Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, [Even] to such as are pure in heart.
22 But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
3 Who will ascend into the hill of Yahweh? And who will stand in his holy place?
4 He who has innocent hands, and a pure heart; Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, And has not sworn deceitfully.
5 He will receive a blessing from Yahweh, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
22 Seeing you{} have purified your{} souls in your{} obedience to the truth to unfeigned love of the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart:
14 Do all things without murmurings and questionings:
15 that you{} may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you{} are seen as lights in the world,
16 holding forth the word of life; that I may have something of which to glory in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain neither labor in vain.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But Yahweh weighs the spirits.
3 And everyone who has this hope [set] on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
