12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe on his name:
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
7 A righteous man who walks in his integrity, Blessed are his sons after him.
5 A fool despises his father's correction; But he who regards reproof gets prudence.
1 Now there went with him great multitudes: and he turned, and said to them,
2 He who loves father or mother more than me can't be my disciple; and he who loves son or daughter more than me can't be my disciple.
3 And he who does not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
4 For which of you{}, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has [the means] to complete it?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your house.
25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, And bitterness to her who bore him.
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, And don't forsake the law of your mother:
9 For they will be a chaplet of grace to your head, And chains about your neck.
32 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me; For blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, And don't refuse it.
7 Whoever keeps the law is a wise son; But he who is a shepherd of gluttons shames his father.
13 And they were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them, Allow the little children to come to me; don't forbid them: for to such belongs the kingdom of God.
15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; [But] the rod of correction will drive it far from him.
21 [My] little children, guard yourselves from idols.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son; But he who loves him chastens him diligently.
4 one who rules well his own house, having [his] children in subjection with all gravity;
25 And he said to her, For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.
40 And you will keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your sons after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Yahweh your God gives you, forever.
20 Children, obey your{} parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.
5 and you{} have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you{} as with sons, My son, do not regard lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved of him;
6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, And scourges every son whom he receives.
7 It is for chastening that you{} endure; God deals with you{} as with sons; for what son is there whom [his] father does not chasten?
8 But if you{} are without chastening, of which all have been made sharers, then you{} are bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we gave them reverence: and shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
2 Beloved, we are now children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we will be. We know that, if he will be manifested, we will be like him; for we will see him even as he is.
3 And everyone who has this hope [set] on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
1 A wise son [hears] his father's instruction; But a scoffer does not hear rebuke.
16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:

10 Salt therefore is good: but if the salt has lost its savor, how will it be salted? It is from then on good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under foot of men.
6 And these words, which I command you this day, will be on your heart;
7 and you will teach them diligently to your sons, and will talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
52 And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
14 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight:
26 For you{} are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you{} as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ.
22 But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
19 The living, the living, he will praise you, as I do this day: The father to the sons will make known your truth.
15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; [But] the rod of correction will drive it far from him.
3 Look, sons are a heritage of Yahweh; [And] the fruit of the womb is [his] reward.
11 Even a child makes himself known by his doings, Whether his work is pure, and whether it is right.
14 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight:
21 Fathers, do not provoke your{} children, that they not be discouraged.
2 And the things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.
4 And, you{} fathers, do not provoke your{} children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.
3 And he who does not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
4 For which of you{}, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has [the means] to complete it?
5 Lest perhaps, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all who watch begin to mock him,
26 He who does violence to his father, and chases away his mother, Is a son who causes shame and brings reproach.
6 Sons of sons are the crown of old men; And the glory of sons are their fathers.
7 and you will teach them diligently to your sons, and will talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
1 Look at what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God; and [such] we are. For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it did not know him.
11 And all chastening seems for the present not to be joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields peaceable fruit to those who have been exercised by it, [even the fruit] of righteousness.
9 And he said to them, Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?
1 My son, do not forget my law; But let your heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and years of life, And peace, they will add to you.
4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.
1 My son, do not forget my law; But let your heart keep my commandments:
11 Come, you{} sons, listen to me: I will teach you{} the fear of Yahweh.
12 For whom Yahweh loves he reproves; Even as a father the son in whom he delights.
1 And the lad Samuel ministered to Yahweh before Eli. And the word of Yahweh was precious in those days; there was no frequent vision.
4 And, you{} fathers, do not provoke your{} children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.
13 Don't withhold correction from the child; [For] if you beat him with the rod, he will not die.
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom; But a child left to himself causes shame to his mother.
4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.
6 Sons of sons are the crown of old men; And the glory of sons are their fathers.
36 And he took a little child, and set the child among them: and taking the child in his arms, he said to them,
37 Whoever will receive one of such little children in my name, receives me: and whoever receives me, does not receive me, but him who sent me.
13 And all your sons will be taught of Yahweh; and great will be the peace of your sons.
15 For you{} didn't receive the spirit of slavery again to fear; but you{} received the spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba, Father.

14 And I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Don't be{} afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your{} brothers, your{} sons, and your{} daughters, your{} wives, and your{} houses.
9 [BET] How will a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed [thereto] according to your word.

20 A wise son makes a glad father; But [a] foolish man despises his mother.
12 I write to you{}, [my] little children, because your{} sins are forgiven you{} for his name's sake.
8 But if any does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
13 And all your sons will be taught of Yahweh; and great will be the peace of your sons.
22 Listen to your father who begot you, And don't despise your mother when she is old.
23 Buy the truth, and don't sell it; [Yes], wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
4 And he taught me, and said to me: Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commandments, and live;
5 Get wisdom, get understanding; Don't forget, neither decline from the words of my mouth;
1 Be{} therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;
28 Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your sons after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the eyes of Yahweh your God.
15 Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you.
16 Look, I have graven you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.
1 Better is the poor that walks in his integrity Than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool.
46 And he said to them, Set your{} heart to all the words which I testify to you{} this day, which you{} will command your{} sons to observe to do, [even] all the words of this law.
47 For it is no vain thing for you{}; because it is your{} life, and through this thing you{} will prolong your{} days in the land, where you{} go over the Jordan to possess it.
1 Children, obey your{} parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with promise),
3 that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.
12 That our sons will be as plants grown up in their youth, And our daughters as cornerstones cut after the fashion of a palace;
9 [BET] How will a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed [thereto] according to your word.
