15 And he said to them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from all greed: for a man's life does not consist in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
5 Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For [riches] certainly make themselves wings, Like an eagle that flies toward heaven.
9 But those who are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful desires, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? For all things come of you, and of your own we have given you.
4 Don't weary yourself to be rich; Cease from your own wisdom.
10 He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with increase: this also is vanity.
21 And as you{} would that men should do to you{}, do{} to them likewise.
21 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and began to say to him each one, Is it I, Lord?
16 How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.
4 Riches do not profit in the day of wrath; But righteousness delivers from death.
16 Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh, Than great treasure and trouble with it.
7 Render to all their dues: tax to whom tax [is due]; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
17 Charge those who are rich in this present age, not to be highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
6 For this cause you{} pay taxes also; for they are ministers of God's service, attending continually on this very thing.
22 That which makes man to be desired is his kindness; And a poor man is better than a liar.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, As much as in all riches.
11 Wealth gotten by vanity will be diminished; But he who gathers by labor will have increase.
9 Honor Yahweh with your substance, And with the first fruits of all your increase:
11 The rich man's wealth is his strong city, And as a high wall in his own imagination.
22 The blessing of Yahweh, it makes rich; And he adds no sorrow with it.
1 A [good] name is rather to be chosen than great riches, [And] loving favor rather than silver and gold.
5 Be{} free from the love of money; content with such things as you{} have: for he himself has said, I will never fail you, neither will I ever forsake you.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; But righteousness delivers from death.
8 Remove far from me falsehood and lies; Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is needful for me:
16 Better is a little that the righteous has Than the abundance of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked will be broken; But Yahweh upholds the righteous.
