22 A cheerful heart is a good medicine; But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
3 He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we did not esteem him.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, struck of God, and afflicted.
36 But you{} are those who have continued with me in my trials;
37 and I appoint to you{}, even as my Father appointed to me, a kingdom,
38 that you{} may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you{} will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
39 Then Jesus says to them, All you{} will be offended in me this night: for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered abroad.
40 But Peter answered and said to him, If all will be offended in you, I will never be offended.
26 and he said, If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians: for I am Yahweh who heals you.
8 and said to his [household] slaves, This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead; and therefore these powers work in him.
7 And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted too much, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted too much.
8 Concerning this thing I implored the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for [my] power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions and distresses, for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.
12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick; But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.
3 He heals the broken in heart, And binds up their wounds.
13 but you{} know that because of an infirmity of the flesh I preached the good news to you{} the first time:
14 and that which was a trial to you{} in my flesh you{} did not despise, nor reject; but you{} received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.
3 Who forgives all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases;
25 And you{} will serve Yahweh your{} God, and he will bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
2 Beloved, I pray that in all things you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
16 And he who was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word, and right away with joy receives it;
17 yet he does not have root in himself, but endures for awhile; and when tribulation or persecution rises because of the word, right away he stumbles.
17 And when Jesus heard it, he says to them, Those who are whole have no need of a physician, but those who are sick: I didn't come to call the righteous, but sinners.
14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; But a broken spirit who can bear?
14 Is any among you{} sick? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he who considers the poor: Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil.
2 Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he will be called blessed on the earth; And you will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
3 Yahweh will support him on the couch of languishing: You make all his bed in his sickness.
3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.
8 Yahweh opens [the eyes of] the blind; Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down; Yahweh loves the righteous;
14 Is any among you{} sick? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
8 and said to his [household] slaves, This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead; and therefore these powers work in him.
4 and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, anymore: because the first things are passed away.
1 And he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, struck of God, and afflicted.
25 And you{} will serve Yahweh your{} God, and he will bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
9 and heal the sick who are in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God has come near to you{}.
14 Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved: for you are my praise.
23 Be no longer a drinker of water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your often infirmities.
16 Confess therefore your{} sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you{} may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man avails much in its working.
