18 Chasten your son, seeing there is hope; And don't set your heart on his destruction.
6 And these words, which I command you this day, will be on your heart;
7 and you will teach them diligently to your sons, and will talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom; And the law of kindness is on her tongue.
10 the day that you stood before Yahweh your God in Horeb, when Yahweh said to me, Assemble the people to me, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their sons.
1 Maschil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law: Incline your{} ears to the words of my mouth.
2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will gush out dark sayings of old,
3 Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their sons, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, And his strength, and his wondrous works that he has done.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son; But he who loves him chastens him diligently.
15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; [But] the rod of correction will drive it far from him.
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom; But a child left to himself causes shame to his mother.
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, And don't forsake the law of your mother:
9 For they will be a chaplet of grace to your head, And chains about your neck.
5 and you will love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
6 And these words, which I command you this day, will be on your heart;
7 and you will teach them diligently to your sons, and will talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
3 Look, sons are a heritage of Yahweh; [And] the fruit of the womb is [his] reward.
12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
3 Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their sons, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, And his strength, and his wondrous works that he has done.

8 Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good: Blessed is the [noble] man who takes refuge in him.
9 Oh fear Yahweh, you{} his saints; For there is no want to those who fear him.
10 The young lions lack, and suffer hunger; But those who seek Yahweh will not want any good thing.
11 Come, you{} sons, listen to me: I will teach you{} the fear of Yahweh.
14 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight:
15 And that from a baby you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
17 Correct your son, and he will give you rest; Yes, he will give delight to your soul.
14 But you stay in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them.
15 And that from a baby you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
4 And, you{} fathers, do not provoke your{} children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.
7 It is for chastening that you{} endure; God deals with you{} as with sons; for what son is there whom [his] father does not chasten?
1 Hear, [my] sons, the instruction of a father, And attend to know understanding:
11 Come, you{} sons, listen to me: I will teach you{} the fear of Yahweh.
13 Don't withhold correction from the child; [For] if you beat him with the rod, he will not die.
14 You will beat him with the rod, And will deliver his soul from Sheol.
18 Therefore you{} will lay up these words of mine in your{} heart and in your{} soul; and you{} will bind them for a sign on your{} hand, and they will be for frontlets between your{} eyes.
19 And you{} will teach them to your{} sons, talking of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
20 And you will write them on the door-posts of your house, and on your gates;
21 that your{} days may be multiplied, and the days of your{} sons, in the land which Yahweh swore to your{} fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
19 The living, the living, he will praise you, as I do this day: The father to the sons will make known your truth.
7 and you will teach them diligently to your sons, and will talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
20 Children, obey your{} parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your{} children, that they not be discouraged.
3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring:
4 We will not hide them from their sons, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, And his strength, and his wondrous works that he has done.
5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which he commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their sons;
6 That the generation to come might know [them], even the sons who should be born; Who should arise and tell [them] to their sons,
7 That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep his commandments,
13 And all your sons will be taught of Yahweh; and great will be the peace of your sons.
