51 Look, I tell you{} a mystery: We all will not sleep, but we will all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
17 And it will be in the last days, says God, I will pour out from my Spirit on all flesh: And your{} sons and your{} daughters will prophesy, And your{} young men will see visions, And your{} old men will dream dreams:
18 Yes and on my male slaves and on my female slaves in those days I will pour forth of my Spirit; and they will prophesy.
19 And I will show wonders in the heaven above, And signs on the earth beneath; Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:
20 The sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of the Lord comes, That great and notable [day].
21 And it will be, that everyone who will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. From these also turn away.
15 For this we say to you{} by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left to the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first;
17 then we who are alive, who are left, will together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
8 But do not forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is long-suffering toward you{}, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be found.
11 Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you{} to be in [all] holy living and godliness,
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
14 And you{} will be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.
1 And at that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who stands for the sons of your people; and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people will be delivered, everyone who will be found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And those who are wise will shine as the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
34 But take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your{} hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come upon you{} suddenly as a snare:
35 for [so] it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.
36 But watch{} at every season, making supplication, that you{} may prevail to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
29 Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you{} know that the summer is near;
30 even so you{} also, when you{} see all these things, you{} know that he is near, [even] at the doors.
31 Truly I say to you{}, This generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.
32 But of that day or that hour knows no one, not even the angels in heaven nor even the Son, but the Father.
17 For, look, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be{} glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, look, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there will be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; and the sea is no more.
2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Look, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his peoples, and God himself with them, he will be their God:
4 and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, anymore: because the first things are passed away.
1 For, look, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up, says Yahweh of hosts, that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But to you{} who fear my name the sun of righteousness will arise with healing in its wings; and you{} will go forth, and leap as calves of the stall.
