24 And it will come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
17 Yahweh your God is in the midst of you, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over you with singing.
1 BOOK II. For the Chief Musician. Maschil of the sons of Korah. As a doe pants after the water brooks, So my soul pants after you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: When shall I come and see the face of God?
3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don't know.
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you{}. Cleanse your{} hands, you{} sinners; and purify your{} hearts, you{} who lead a double life.
1 Ho, everyone who thirsts, come{} to the waters, and he who has no money; come{}, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Why do you{} spend money for that which is not bread? And your{} labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat{} that which is good, and let your{} soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your{} ear, and come to me; hear, and your{} soul will live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you{}, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Look, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.
5 Look, you will call a nation that you don't know; and a nation that didn't know you will run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.
6 Seek{} Yahweh while he may be found; call{} on him while he is near:
1 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God; earnestly I will seek you: My soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
2 So I have looked on you in the sanctuary, To see your power and your glory.
3 Because your loving-kindness is better than life, My lips will praise you.
4 So I will bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth will praise you with joyful lips;
6 When I remember you on my bed, [And] meditate on you in the night-watches.
7 For you have been my help, And in the shadow of your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul sticks [closely] after you: Your right hand upholds me.
9 But those who seek my soul, to destroy it, Will go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They will be given over to the power of the sword: They will be a portion for foxes.
11 But the king will rejoice in God: Everyone who swears by him will glory; For the mouth of those who speak lies will be stopped.
22 And the glory which you have given me I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we [are] one;
23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you{}, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you{} hope in your{} latter end.
