19 God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither a son of man, that he should repent: Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?
16 There are six things which Yahweh hates; Yes, seven which are disgusting to him:
17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood;
18 A heart that devises wicked purposes, Feet that are swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that utters lies, And he who sows discord among brothers.
11 You{} will not steal; neither will you{} deal falsely; nor lie; a man to his associate.
6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue Is a vapor driven to and fro by those who seek death.
15 Outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie.
5 A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness utters lies.
7 He who works deceit will not dwell inside my house: He who speaks falsehood will not be established before my eyes.
16 You will not bear false witness against your fellow man.
44 You{} are of the father the devil, and the desires of your{} father it is your{} will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of lies.
13 The remnant of Israel will not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they will feed and lie down, and none will make them afraid.
1 But the Spirit says expressly, that in later times some will fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron;
3 forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
22 Lying lips are disgusting to Yahweh; But those who deal truly are his delight.
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Don't hold your peace, O God of my praise;
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit they have opened against me: They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.
14 But if you{} have bitter jealousy and faction in your{} heart, don't glory and don't lie against the truth.
25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak{} truth each one with his fellow man: for we are members one of another.
9 do not lie one to another; seeing that you{} have put off the old man with his activities,
10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed to knowledge after the image of him who created him:
7 Excellent speech does not become a fool; Much less do lying lips a prince.
