6 Be strong and of good courage, don't fear, nor be afraid of them: for Yahweh your God, it is he who goes with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.
13 And whatever you{} will ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you{} will ask me anything in my name, I will do [it].
24 Don't you{} know that those running in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Even so run; that you{} may attain.
25 And every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they [do it] to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, as not uncertainly; so I fight, not as beating the air:
27 but I buffet my body, and bring it into slavery: lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disapproved.
23 whatever you{} do, work heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;
13 I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you{}, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you{} hope in your{} latter end.
7 A thousand will fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; [But] it will not come near you.
13 for it is God who works in you{} both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do [it] with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you go.
29 He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even the youths will faint and be weary, and the young men will completely fall:
31 but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles; they will run, and not be weary; they will walk, and not faint.
13 Brothers, I don't count myself to have laid hold: but one thing [I do], forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,
14 I press on toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
1 Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 looking to Jesus the author and perfecter of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him who has endured such opposing of sinners against himself, that you{} do not wax weary, fainting in your{} souls.
29 And don't you{} seek what you{} will eat, and what you{} will drink, neither be{} of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after: but your{} Father knows that you{} have need of these things.
10 I will greatly rejoice in Yahweh, my soul will be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
10 For even when we were with you{}, this we commanded you{}, If any will not work, neither let him eat.
11 For we hear of some that walk among you{} disorderly, that don't work at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now those who are such we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness, and eat their own bread.
13 But you{}, brothers, don't be weary in well-doing.
