37 Pilate therefore said to him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end I have been born, and to this end I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice.
30 And the angel said to her, Don't be afraid, Mary: for you have found favor with God.
31 And look, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will call his name Jesus.
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High: and Yahweh God will give to him the throne of his father David:
33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.
5 Have this mind in you{}, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 who, existing in the form of God, did not consider making full use of his equality with God,
7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being made in the likeness of men;
8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] to death, yes, the death of the cross.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David;
5 to enroll himself with Mary, his wife, being pregnant.
6 And it came to pass, while they were there, the days were fulfilled that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son; and she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 and might deliver all those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to slavery.
4 but when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
9 And Jesus when he was baptized, went up immediately from the water: and look, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him;
10 and look, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
17 Therefore it behooved him in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
10 And the angel said to them, Don't be afraid; for look, I bring you{} good news of great joy which will be to all the people:
11 for there is born to you{} this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12 And this [will be] the sign to you{}: You{} will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger.
15 And it came to pass, when the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even to Bethlehem, and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.
16 And they came in a hurry, and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger.
17 And when they saw it, they made known concerning the saying which was spoken to them about this child.
18 And all who heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds.
