29 But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.
32 And we are witnesses of these things; and [so is] the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
8 This book of the law will not depart out of your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it: for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
8 This book of the law will not depart out of your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it: for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
16 You{} did not choose me, but I chose you{}, and appointed you{}, that you{} should go and bear fruit, and [that] your{} fruit should stay: that whatever you{} will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you{}.
1 I urge you{} therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your{} bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your{} spiritual service.
21 Beloved, if our heart doesn't condemn us, we have boldness toward God;
22 and whatever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
19 For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one will the many be made righteous.
3 and keep the charge of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, [and] his commandments, and his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do, and wherever you turn yourself.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make a place to stay with him.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be{} steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you{} know that your{} labor is not vain in the Lord.
33 You{} will walk in all the way which Yahweh your{} God has commanded you{}, that you{} may live, and that it may be well with you{}, and that you{} may prolong your{} days in the land which you{} will possess.
44 As soon as they hear of me they will obey me; The foreigners will submit themselves to me.
14 as sons of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your{} former desires in [the time of] your{} ignorance:
32 that I may come to you{} in joy through the will of God, and together with you{} find rest.
20 And the law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly:
11 in diligence not slothful; fervent in spirit; serving as slaves to the Lord;
15 If you{} love me, you{} will keep my commandments.
7 Be subject therefore to God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you{}.
22 And Samuel said, Does Yahweh have as great delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahweh? Look, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the [powers] that be are appointed of God.
2 Therefore he who resists the power, withstands the ordinance of God: and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
11 and that every tongue should confess, The Lord Jesus Christ, to the glory of God the Father.
1 And it will come to pass, if you will listen diligently to the voice of Yahweh your God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you this day, that Yahweh your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth:
2 And don't be fashioned according to this age: but be transformed by the renewing of your{} mind, that you{} may prove what the will of God is--that [which is] good and acceptable and perfect.
8 though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 and having been made perfect, he became to all those who obey him the author of eternal salvation;
46 And why call{} me, Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?
20 My son, keep the commandment of your father, And don't forsake the law of your mother:
2 If you{} will not hear, and if you{} will not lay it to heart, to give glory to my name, says Yahweh of hosts, then I will send the curse on you{}, and I will curse your{} blessings; yes, I have cursed them already, because you{} don't lay it to heart.
27 But I say to you{} who hear, Love your{} enemies, do good to those who hate you{},
28 bless those who curse you{}, pray for those who despitefully use you{}.
17 He is in the way to life that heeds correction; But he who forsakes reproof errs.
1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the [powers] that be are appointed of God.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
23 And he said to all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
29 Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their sons forever!
27 And answering he said, You will love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your fellow man as yourself.
22 But be{} doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your{} own selves.
22 But be{} doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your{} own selves.
