8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you{}. Cleanse your{} hands, you{} sinners; and purify your{} hearts, you{} who lead a double life.
17 pray without ceasing;
7 And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, Truly I say to you{}, I have found no one with such faith in Israel.
8 And Jesus said to the captain, Go your way; as you have believed, [so] be it done to you. And his [young] slave was healed in that hour.
3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don't know.
22 And he called ten slaves of his, and gave them 10,000, and said to them, Trade{} until I come.
2 O you who hear prayer, To you will all flesh come.
1 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God; earnestly I will seek you: My soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us:
2 You{} lust and don't have; so you{} kill. And you{} covet and cannot obtain; so you{} fight and war. You{} don't have, because you{} don't ask.
24 For he has not despised nor detested the affliction of the afflicted; Neither has he hid his face from him; But when he cried to him, he heard.
1 I love Yahweh, because he hears My voice and my supplications.
2 Because he has inclined his ear to me, Therefore I will call [on him] as long as I live.
6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your{} requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your{} hearts and your{} thoughts in Christ Jesus.
7 And there is none who calls on your name, who stirs up himself to take hold of you; for you have hid your face from us, and have consumed us by means of our iniquities.
2 And he said to them, When you{} pray, say, Father, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And bring us not into temptation.
19 For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you will weep no more; he will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry; when he will hear, he will answer you.
2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving;
24 And it will come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
8 Trust in him at all times, you{} people; Pour out your{} heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
7 If you{} stay in me, and my words stay in you{}, ask whatever you{} will, and it will be done to you{}.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noonday, I will complain, and moan; And he will hear my voice.
16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need.
6 But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing: for he who doubts is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
13 And whatever you{} will ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:
24 Therefore I say to you{}, All things that you{} pray and ask for, believe that you{} receive them, and you{} will have them.
26 And in like manner the Spirit also helps our infirmity: for we don't know how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself makes intercession for [us] with groanings which can't be uttered;
27 and he who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
27 But I say to you{} who hear, Love your{} enemies, do good to those who hate you{},
28 bless those who curse you{}, pray for those who despitefully use you{}.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:
19 But truly God has heard; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
24 Therefore I say to you{}, All things that you{} pray and ask for, believe that you{} receive them, and you{} will have them.
17 I cried to him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue.
16 Confess therefore your{} sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you{} may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man avails much in its working.
5 But if any of you{} lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and does not upbraid; and it will be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing: for he who doubts is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
7 For do not let that man think that he will receive anything of the Lord;
8 a man who leads a double life, unstable in all his ways.
19 Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord: Lift up your hands toward him for the life of your young children, that faint for hunger at the head of every street.
7 Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him: Don't fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
19 And my God will supply every need of yours{} according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
7 And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, Truly I say to you{}, I have found no one with such faith in Israel.
2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.
10 With my whole heart I have sought you: Oh don't let me wander from your commandments.
24 Therefore I say to you{}, All things that you{} pray and ask for, believe that you{} receive them, and you{} will have them.
11 And Jesus answered and said to them, Go and tell John the things which you{} hear and see:
6 But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing: for he who doubts is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
7 For do not let that man think that he will receive anything of the Lord;
40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh.
41 Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.
6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [to him]; for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of those who seek after him.
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be{} therefore of sound mind, and be sober to prayer:
18 with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,
9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is disgusting.
22 And he called ten slaves of his, and gave them 10,000, and said to them, Trade{} until I come.
9 Blessed are you{}, when men will hate you{}, and when they will separate you{} [from their company],
10 Rejoice in that day, and leap [for joy]: for look, your{} reward is great in heaven; for in the same manner their fathers did to the prophets.
11 But woe to you{} who are rich! For you{} have received your{} consolation.
12 Woe to you{}, you{} who are full now! For you{} will hunger.
13 Woe [to you{}], you{} who laugh now! For you{} will mourn and weep.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their distress, When he heard their cry:
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, And repented according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.
12 rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
16 Rejoice always;
17 pray without ceasing;
18 in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you{}.
3 But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly: Yahweh will hear when I call to him.
14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us:
15 and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need.
17 pray without ceasing;
15 And call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will glorify me.
9 And I say to you{}, Ask, and it will be given you{}; seek, and you{} will find; knock, and it will be opened to you{}.
10 For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks it will be opened.
7 Blessed [are] you{} who hunger now: for you{} will be filled.
8 Blessed [are] you{} who weep now: for you{} will laugh.
20 yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn't waver through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,
21 and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
8 I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.
24 And it will come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
12 And you{} will call on me, and you{} will go and pray to me, and I will listen to you{}.
6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your{} requests be made known to God.
15 and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
5 For the waves of death surrounded me; The floods of ungodliness made me afraid:
6 The cords of Sheol were round about me; The snares of death came upon me.
7 In my distress I called on Yahweh; Yes, I called to my God: And he heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry [came] into his ears.
18 Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, To all who call on him in truth.
8 Concerning this thing I implored the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for [my] power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
16 You{} did not choose me, but I chose you{}, and appointed you{}, that you{} should go and bear fruit, and [that] your{} fruit should stay: that whatever you{} will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you{}.
13 And whatever you{} will ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you{} will ask me anything in my name, I will do [it].
26 And in like manner the Spirit also helps our infirmity: for we don't know how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself makes intercession for [us] with groanings which can't be uttered;
27 and he who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
24 Until now have you{} asked nothing in my name: ask, and you{} will receive, that your{} joy may be made full.
12 Yet even now, says Yahweh, turn{} to me with all your{} heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
3 O Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice; In the morning I will order [my prayer] to you, and will keep watch.
5 And he came down with them, and stood on a level place with a great multitude of his disciples and the people who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said,
8 I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.
14 These all with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer, with the women, and [with] Mary the mother of Jesus, and [with] his brothers.
6 Seek{} Yahweh while he may be found; call{} on him while he is near:
1 And he spoke a parable to them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 saying, There was in a city a judge, who didn't fear God, and didn't regard man:
3 and there was a widow in that city; and she came often to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.
4 And he would not for awhile: but after these things he said to himself, Though I don't fear God, nor regard man;
5 yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest she wear me out by her continual coming.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge says.
7 And will not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and [yet] he is long-suffering over them?
8 I say to you{}, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?
22 and whatever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
25 Therefore also he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.
6 In my distress I called on Yahweh, And cried to my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry before him came into his ears.
13 And you{} will seek me, and find me, when you{} will search for me with all your{} heart.
18 with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,
31 Simon, Simon, look, Satan asked to have you{}, that he might sift you{} as wheat:
32 but I made supplication for you, that your faith does not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.
16 Confess therefore your{} sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you{} may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man avails much in its working.
21 And Jesus answering spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?
11 Thus says Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things that are to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command{} me.
3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don't know.
20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
13 And whatever you{} will ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you{} will ask me anything in my name, I will do [it].
16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need.
25 But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;
17 He has regarded the prayer of the destitute, And has not despised their prayer.
6 Blessed [are] you{} poor: for yours{} is the kingdom of God.
6 Blessed [are] you{} poor: for yours{} is the kingdom of God.
7 Blessed [are] you{} who hunger now: for you{} will be filled.
7 Blessed [are] you{} who hunger now: for you{} will be filled.
