32 Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you{}, Has not Moses given you{} the bread out of heaven? But my Father gives you{} the true bread out of heaven.
33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.
34 They said therefore to him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 Jesus said to them. I am the bread of life: he who comes to me will not hunger, and he who believes on me will never thirst.
19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you{}: this do in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as you{} eat this bread, and drink the cup, you{} proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
9 Blessed are you{}, when men will hate you{}, and when they will separate you{} [from their company],
10 Rejoice in that day, and leap [for joy]: for look, your{} reward is great in heaven; for in the same manner their fathers did to the prophets.
11 But woe to you{} who are rich! For you{} have received your{} consolation.
23 Yet he commanded the skies above, And opened the doors of heaven;
24 And he rained down manna on them to eat, And gave them food from heaven.
25 Man ate the bread of the mighty: He sent them food to the full.
31 And the house of Israel called its name Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers [made] with honey.
11 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
12 I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel: speak to them, saying, At evening you{} will eat flesh, and in the morning you{} will be filled with bread: and you{} will know that I am Yahweh your{} God.
13 And it came to pass at evening, that the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the camp.
14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, look, on the face of the wilderness a small round thing, small as the frost on the ground.
15 And when the sons of Israel saw it, they said one to another, What is it? For they didn't know what it was. And Moses said to them, It is the bread which Yahweh has given you{} to eat.
9 He who has a bountiful eye will be blessed; For he gives of his bread to the poor.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.
3 And he humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh does man live.
1 Cast your bread on the waters; for you will find it after many days.
2 Give a portion to seven, yes, even to eight; for you don't know what evil will be on the earth.
4 And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, preparing their nets; and he called them.
48 I am the bread of life.
49 Your{} fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
50 This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that a man may eat of it, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he will live forever: yes and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
5 and he reasoned to himself, saying, What shall I do, because I don't have a place to bestow my fruits?
6 And he said, I will do this: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there I will bestow all my grain and my goods.
7 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, be merry.
8 But God said to him, You foolish one, this [is] the night they demand back your soul from you; and the things which you have prepared, whose will they be?
9 So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
10 And he said to his disciples, Therefore I say to you{}, don't be anxious for your{} life, what you{} will eat, or what you{} will drink; nor yet for your{} body, what you{} will put on. Isn't life more than food, and body than clothing?
11 Look at the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your{} heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you{} of much more value then they?
12 And which of you{} by being anxious can add one cubit to the measure of his life?
37 But he answered and said to them, You{} give them to eat. And they say to him, Shall we go and buy 20,000 worth of bread, and give them to eat?
38 And he says to them, How many loaves do you{} have? Go [and] see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fish.
39 And he commanded them that all should sit down by companies on the green grass.
40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.
41 And he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and broke the loaves; and he gave to his disciples to set before them; and the two fish he divided among them all.
42 And they all ate, and were filled.
43 And they took up broken pieces, twelve basketfuls, and also of the fish.
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a communion of the body of Christ?
17 seeing that we, who are many, are one bread, one body: for we all partake of the one bread.
14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And herb for the service of man; That he may bring forth food out of the earth,
15 And wine that makes glad the heart of common man, [And] oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengthens common man's heart.
